Hello, my name is Nicole Ferguson, I am from Florida. I've lived in the general bay area my whole life. My Current major is Interdisciplinary sciences with a concentration in Communication and Social Sciences. My major didn't start that way when I got to USF my original major was Cybersecurity I wasn't doing so well at that one and I didn't want to fail out of college so I moved to another major that also interested me would let me continue my college career.
Everything interests me and I say that as a person with ADHD so in a way, I am a person with many interests and I have picked up a lot of skills. One is music, I really enjoy playing music and listening to music. I only know how to play two instruments confidently which are the drums and the guitar. Still, I have been trying to learn to play the piano and I have a keyboard in my room. Skateboarding is another thing I have had an interest in since I was young. You really take to certain things when you watch a lot of Avril Lavigne as a young teen I guess. Besides my hobbies, I attempt to try new foods, but I struggle with that as I am a fairly picky eater.
I've been working since I was 16 mostly at fast food or local restaurants. As I've gotten older I've worked for big companies like Apple Tesla, and Verizon. One of my favorites was Apple because I had a role in setting up demos at different places and going to nice events. There were many perks involved in the position.
I enjoy social media just as much as the next person and my current favorite has been TikTok. Short-form videos and clips are great for someone with ADHD. I also enjoy making TikToks of my daily life. I have been trying to get into reading so I can keep my brain sharp. I enjoy reading books that have movies or TV shows made of them so I can compare the stories and how I imagined the characters versus how they are portrayed in the show or movie.
This is technically my first time creating a blog if you don't count My Space. My experience with blogs is very little as I have not read much in the past and was not really interested in this form of media. I look forward to posting and reading a few blogs through this project.

ReplyDeleteMy daughter has ADHD so I understand how challenging routine things can be. She too is not much of a reader even though I read to her every day for as many years as she would let me. I'll be interested to hear if blogging helps you at all.
